Lentz Computer Services was founded in December 1989 by Larry Lentz to serve the technology needs of small businesses in South Texas. He was President of the Alamo PC Organization in 1994 (www.AlamoPC.org) and continued to contribute with articles for the group's magazine (Windows NT and Windows 2000). Larry obtained his MCSE in 1997 through the Alamo PC MCSE SIG. He has run that SIG ever since and has earned numerous Microsoft certifications. Larry is a Microsoft MVP (Most Valueable Professional) for Dynamics CRM and was the first Microsoft Small Business Specialist in South Texas.

 

Lentz Computer Services provides on-site and remote assistance for its clients. This includes network implementation, hardware, software, expertise, trouble shooting, general maintenance, and training. 

 

Lentz Computer Services has been specializing in Microsoft Small Business Server since it was first released in 1997. Small Busness Server provides small businesses with the same computing capabilities as larger companies, but on a small business budget. Larry is a member of the SBS Family of MVPs which gives him access to advice from the best SBS experts world wide. Larry runs the Alamo PC SBS special interest group which he founded in 2004. Lentz Computer Services provides implementation, administration, and on-going support for Microsoft Windows Small Business Server. As a Microsoft Certified Partner, we hold the Networking Infrastructure Solutions competency.

 

Lentz Computer Services has always supported contact managment type systems. In the early and mid-1990s, Larry was considered to the be ACT! guru of San Antonio. In 1998 LCS discovered the benefits of GoldMine and became a Gold Partner in 1999. Later it became clear that Microsoft's CRM was going to be a strong force in this market. Lentz Computer Services now provides consulting, implementation, and training support for Dynamics CRM. Larry is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and provides CRM training nationally. Larry is one of only 35 Dynamics CRM MVPs world wide. Lentz Computer Services holds the Microsoft Business Solutions CRM competency in the Certified Partner program.
